Restoring the Body
Unique artwork, painted using a squeegee, employing a multi-layered technique of pigmentapplication, formatted in reverse througha silkscreen matrix. The intricate layering of this technique symbolizes the complexity of human corporeality and psychological dimensions. It is a visual manifestation of our deepest values and inner contradictions, transferred onto canvas
The execution of this work was highly challenging—created in reverse on a silkscreen matrix, requiring precise manipu-lation of the squeegee instead of a traditional brush, anticipating the final composition without direct visibility. The delicate, strat-ified application of pigment recalls ancient Japanese textile painting techniques, where layers build depth and texture over time.
This one-of-a-kind piece, when exhibited, unfolds its aesthetic and conceptual layers gradually, allowing each fragment of the composition to exist as an independent discovery. Observed from afar, it offers a striking presence; examined up close, it reveals intricate details, each centimeter a unique microcosm of the whole. A journey through high art, where technique, form, and meaning converge.
